Who are the manufacturers of plasma tvs?
I’ve heard there are only 3 manufacturers. I have a Viore labeled by Walmart and don’t know who actually made the TV. Can’t find the code for it on my remote without knowing.
It is true that there are only few manufacturers of plasma panels: LG, Samsung, Pioneer, Matsushita (and maybe 1-2 more). However there are many manufacturers of plasma tvs.
Manufacturers don’t share the remote codes, so even if you know who makes the panels in your TV, chances are that the codes will be different.
Your best bet is to buy a cheap "learning" universal remote . Then use your existing remote to teach your new learning remote your TV codes.
