Im a bit confused about how last generation games look on lcd TVs?
I want to play my ps2 on an HD lcd tv (that I will buy soon – i will probably buy an xbox 360 soon too but for now I just want to play ps2 on it). I keep hearing conflicting opinions on how the quality is on LCDs. Here is the link to the TV i want:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/customer-reviews/B000O15GOK/sr=8-1/qid=1188240793/ref=cm_cr_dp_2_1/202-7717341-5457453?ie=UTF8&customer-reviews.sort%5Fby=-SubmissionDate&n=560798&qid=1188240793&sr=8-1
If you read the last customer comment they say the ps2 looks terrible on it – I was under the impression that although the ps2 quality wouldnt be as good as the xbox 360 or ps3, it would be much better than on a standard CRT tv. Am i right in thinking this?
To the person who suggested the newer version, can you give me the model number? I thought this was the latest (the 8 series). Thanks
Well a ps2 wont look as good on a big lcd cause the big high def screen makes is actually too good compared to the ps2 better off with crt with ps2. Xbox 360 and ps3 defo get a lcd its so worth it .

They look much better on a CRT 32" Flat Panel, because the Direct view screen isn’t affected by the fast gaming graphics.
