do ntsc system lcd tvs from usa work in india if i buy tata sky?
i bought a phillips lcd tv in usa and now moving back to india so will the tv work in india?
If you buy a good power converter should work well i tried that and just ended up buying another tv because the power converter got way to hot in india

First thing, you will need a power converter to change the voltage from 120 to 240 I think is the international standard. Either way, research the correct type of converter.
Most important thing after getting it to turn on is the signal. If you are watching DVD’s, Blu-Ray, HD-DVD, etc. that is encoded from the US using NTSC, then it will be fine. However, I believe that India is a uses PAL standard that is not compatible with NTSC.
