CES 2009: LG LED LCD TV
LG tells us about the thinnest LED LCD backlight TV. At its thickest depth, it’s only around 1.75-inches! It’ll be available sometime in May or June.

hard to explain… …
hard to explain… its the 100hz motion plus that make the movements fast in a good way but it got a downside aswell… hard to explain but the movements gets shaky in a way, it dont really move smoothly sometims… but its not like that 24/7 and u can barely notice it but I see it its there allright… but without the 100hz motion plus the problem is gone…

and I also have to say that led tvs make movies horrible… I mean it dont feel like imn watching a movie it looks like if someone is there filming with a camera cuz of the good quality and brightness and glossyness…. it totally ruin the movie experience for me sadly… but I get used to it I guess

yes u can turn …
yes u can turn 100hz motion plus off… I got the 6050 series and it just got 100hz not 120 like some say. and 7 series got the same hz… but the 8 series got around 200hz I guess but thats just waay too fast sometimes when they move very slowly it moves TOO fast.. and the 8 series cost like 717 dollar more… so no thanks

I’m interested in upgrading from my old SD Rear Projection TV should I go with Samsung? I’ve heard that their the best in TV screen Technology. So I’m looking for a 1080p LED LCD TV that is 240Hz TruMotion (no laggy pictures), Very Vivid in Colour, very high contrast and at least 40 inches an I heard that their a technology called Dynamic LED or RGB LED Backlight for TVs what Brand has those Technologies? And how long do these TVs last for? Thanks in Advance

Samsung has one for …
Samsung has one for $1499-UN32B6000 32″ 1080p LED HDTV. And to all you other guys its not just ultra thin but the contrast ratio is amazingly higher than previous LCD. The TV I mentioned above for example has 3,000,000: 1 contrast ratio, thats insane. They also Have a much better viewing angle that rivals with plasma TV’s
