i’m planning to buy tvs apache rtr160.will it vibrate in 50-60km are there any complaints abt d bike?
please give good suggestions .i’m planning 2 buy within 2 weeks.
From a 50cc moped to a superbike to the Rolls Royce…if it has an engine which runs on fuel (Petrol/Diesel), it’ll vibrate.
I’ve heard RTR owners complaining about the bike…that it has too much acceleration. Is a little bit hard to control initially.
That the bike has very powerful brakes…almost made me lose my balance…
RTR is an awesome piece of engineering and the Fi version is even better. You shouldn’t worry about vibration. Vibrations are a bit more when compared to Bajaj & Hero Honda bikes but that bike has a lot of good things too which are a bit more when compared to Bajaj & Hero Honda models.
There are absolutely no faults with the bike. You should go for it with your eyes closed. You don’t need any good suggestions…selecting the RTR160 is in itself an excellent decision you made. Don’t even think about leaving it and purchasing any Bajaj or Hero Honda.
Good luck!

No, actually the porblem wit rtr 160 is the throttle which goes little sluggish in high revs… But there’s no probs like what u have heard…. If i were u i would buy apache180cc instead…..

The other manufacturers like Yamaha and Kawasaki have a counter balancer which cancels the offending vibrations. However this extra bit of engineering is expensive and may also decrease mileage slightly. So TVS has not yet incorporated it in their machine.
Instead of the 160, why don’t you opt for the 180cc. It seems like a more sorted out bike.
The new Gladiator 125 from Yamaha has the counterbalancer. It looks Fabulous too ! Why don’t you go to a dealer near you and check out the black and red colour scheme. You just might change your mind.
