Is it safe to connect a video game console to an LCD screen tv or a Big screen TV?
I’ve heard before that connecting video game consoles to big screen tvs can ruin/burn the TV screen. Is this True?
Rear projection, projection, and plasma TV’s can suffer from burn-in (in newer sets, it’s becoming less of an issue, but it still is indeed an issue).
LCDs will never suffer from burn-in (though some pixels can become temporarily ‘stuck’, but return to normal when the picture on the screen changes significantly).

Its safe I have an LCD TV and use it all the time the only way it will burn the screen is if you leave a game on pause for hours and hours at a time.

It depends on the type of television. An LCD model should be fine. Plasma tvs on the other hand will have some issues over time.

I use a 32 " Sony CRT True flat panel . The CRT direct view tube(screen) is not affected by the high gaming graphics, whereas the big screen ones get burn in after a while. Besides that, using the big screen for gaming ties up that TV for anyone not thrilled with gaming.
