how do i lower volume on my big screen tv so i can play playstation?
I have a toshiba big screen tv.On the back there colored plugs,yellow,white and red.I plugged my playstation 2 in so i can play but when i lower the volume on the big screen it doesnt lower the sound for playstation?I have yellow from playstation in yellow on Tv but is there a certain spot for the volume?Where its plugged in now doesnt let me lower volume,it stays very loud?Is it white or red?

i had the same problem… i got my tv to reset and then it worked fine,,, but i had a sony tv

red and white are left and right audio the yellow is video plug all 3 in

The yellow connector is video. Red and white are the right and left audio connectors. The connectors should be in an AV input (AV1, AV2 etc.) and the TV set to the same thing (AV!, AV2 etc.). The volume should be controllable using the TV remote or the front panel controls.
